This felt vegetables and fruits set is thefourth set that we have designed. Each set consists of twelvepieces of fruits and vegetables - pineapple, white grapes, mango, a slice of rockmelon, artichoke, leek, pomegranate (whole and halved), purple fig (whole and halved) and lemon (whole and sliced).
When I designedthese vegetables and fruits, I wanted to cultivatepositive food affirmation for my children. The ideas that translate from pretend play will help them embrace vegetables and fruits in their daily diet.
Each fruit and vegetable hasbeen meticulously needle-felted with wool that has been dyedwith non-toxiccolours, making it safe for young children.
